Break Forth is undoubtedly a personal expression ñ of music, of the harp, of the mystery and beauty of Christmas and the glorious music of the season. Through her original arrangements, harpist Anne Sullivan reveals the depth of sonorities of her instrument, from the majesticDivinum Mysterium to the joyous Bohemian Bell Carol to the contemplative and moving Ave Maria of Schubert. ìThis is the most challenging work I have done to date,î she says. ìBetween the musical arranging and the performing, it has been an intense creative effort, and I think this recording reflects more of myself than anything else I have done.

Romantische CD

Duo Parisienne CD
This is a live concert recording from Philadelphia’s premiere chamber music collaboration,1807 and Friends. It is the first recorded offering from Duo Parisienne, Nancy Bean, violin and viola, and Anne Sullivan, harp. For this recording they are joined by Philadelphia Orchestra flutist David Cramer in a program of repertoire spanning 300 years.The highlight of the disk is the brilliant performance of the dramatic and romantic Saint-Saens Fantaisie for violin and harp, Duo Parisienne’s signature piece.

Christmas Echoes
Christmas isn’t complete without flute and harp, and SPARX proudly presents their tribute to the music of the season, Christmas Echoes. For this recording SPARX commissioned composer Scott Lavender to arrange three medleys of traditional Christmas music; a collection of Christmas lullabyes (Slumber Sweet), a merry bell medley (Weihnachtsglocken) and a suite of medieval carols (Christmas Echoes).
